The Lehigh Valley Science and Engineering Research Fair started in 1991. It is open to all sixth through twelfth graders in both Northampton County and Lehigh County. Lehigh University sponsors and hosts the fair each year in March.
LVSF is a feeder fair of Delaware Valley Science Fair. Top winners at LVSF may have a chance to participate at Del Val. Fourteen winners from Del Val are promoted to The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
